    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely difficult, especially if you don't have a strong background in genetics or haven't even been exposed to the topic since freshman year. It takes a lot of studying and keeping up, but I learned an exorbitant amount of information. I really feel like this class bettered me as a Biology student, and I'm very glad I took it, especially with this teacher. Dr. Hauck is always willing and ready to help with anything at all.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned a lot of things that I used in the next course, which is Cell Bio. I learned so many explanations of why people look the way they do, what goes on in the body when an individual is diseased, and so much more. These things were so intriguing, and it was amazing to be able to know exactly why something happens the way it does.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and do not hesitate to go to your teachers for help. The class is very difficult, and I can honestly say that I was in my teacher's office quite often.
