    Course Overview:

    this is one of the best civil engineering course that has helped me gather alot of skill and expertice in as far as water related structures like dams and flood protection structure design are concerned.

    Course highlights:

    1...design of hydraulic structure -all aspects like the capacity design are taught in this course 2,..use of different formulas like Meyers formula to design road structure like culverts and bridges 3..river gauging was also done in this course which assist me up to date in the design of flood control structures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    yes.. it is a useful and helpfulcourse especially to those who are willing to join the civil engineering field since it do apply in all fields f civil engineering like,water,tunnel,highway,geotechnical,marine and coastal engineering.

    hydrology introduces one to the water circle and what transformations happens to it. its very essential for water resource management.

    Course highlights:

    hydrological circle and process precipitation, runoff, sub surface flow water flow measurements hydrographs

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    to familiarise with basic on water movements in the spheres. its a nice course in weathers and climate planning
