    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Because it provides the tools needed to be politically active and find the flaws in our institutions that need to be improved. Taking a political science course will benefit you in any profession since politics is essentially the interactions we have with one another every day.

    Course highlights:

Socratic seminars and debate are essential to any political science course. Overall, engaging with other students helped me communicate more efficiently and increase my tolerance for new ideas. These are valuable skills to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are uncertain about the value of the course or your ability to perform well academically, don't be. There is value in everything, but you have to be open to seeing that. And though the course may be challenging, every challenge comes with its rewards.
