Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I highly recommend this course because it gives you an overview of history that normal history classes do not give you, through the arts. If you are a history fanatic, this class is for you. If you are an arts fanatic, this class is for you. If you generally just want to explore something new and interesting, then this class is also for you.
I gained a better understanding of not only the arts of certain time periods in India, China, and Japan, but a compare and contrast of what was going on, culturally, during that time period in all three major locations. You touch history as far back as the Indus Valley Civilization, all the way too the huge Hindu temples of India, to the Zen Gardens of Japan, and to the nature drawings of the Chinese before, during and after the Mongolian Empire.
