    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Civil Engineering is wide and it helps one get skills in most engineering fields in construction management and also electrical engineering.

    Course highlights:

    I have acquired knowledge on different types of materials and also how to design different types of structures. It helped in knowing how to plan when you want to do certain specifications of work.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    You have to stay positive and have a good attitude towards the course. You also put a lot of effort in doing research and wanting to study more.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    structural engineering is a very course in the field of engineering because it is very applicable to construction of a variety of structures i.e. buildings, bridges etc. it is a subdivision in the field of civil engineering where structural engineers are trained to ensure constructions raised are safe and economical in our daily life.

    Course highlights:

    some of the highlights of the course includes 1. understand what is stability in terms of forces 2. learn how to predict stability 3. calculation of forces generated by certain loads 4. understanding different types of forces that always 5. understanding how to determine strength and rigidity of structures raised 6. understanding different kind of building materials 7. learning calculation of forces and how they are distributed

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    advice to students 1. attend all lecturer classes without missing 2. be attentive during calculation by your lecturer by following step by step 3. do a lot research in theories about structural engineering 4. do thorough revision to pass exam and continuous assessment test 5. they should do a lot of calculation in past revision papers
