    Course Overview:

    It is packed with units that introduce the student to the basics of Computing and Information Technology and then develop their skill and knowledge to industry standards and beyond.

    Course highlights:

    Web Development using HTML, CSS and PhP, Object Oriented Programming in Java, Legal and Ethical issues in Computing, and Research and Technical writing.

    Advice for students:

    Practice what you learn in class when away from class. Also use Internet resources such as YouTube tutorials to expound on what you learn in class.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend Bsc. Computer Science to those who are interested in technology. It is cool having to study the structure, history and evolving trends of computers. You will be able to acquire skills and ability to build powerful software or a computer component that will have make life a success. Job opportunities are so many and you won't lack a place to work in as computers are becoming a thing of the current and future generations. The best payed persons are those of Computing Field. Computing is the magics of the world as the 6/10 of the richest people in the world have invested in the Computing field. The richest and giant companies in the world currently are in the field of computing (Google, Microsoft,Apple...). So I would encourage you to doing Computer Science to stand out among the many other fields and have a better future and create an outstanding mark in the world to be included in history.

    Course highlights:

    1. Performing tasks in groups to help in knowledge sharing and completion of tasks easily. 2. Gain knowledge on how to develop software and design of hardware components which one can use to create a nice customized device. 3. How Computers operate and how they process data hence ability to discover new ways of design of fast executable computer algorithms(step by step procedure followed by computer to solve a task) which will save on users time and memory. This also helps one to identify the vulnerabilities that can be available in a computer hence one can device new ways of protecting a computer from hacking or destruction from viruses.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    1. Have interests on computers and be anxious to know how it operates and how you would wish to change or add ideas to improve the world of technology. 2. Be a person who thinks about solving problems of the current world by building apps that can save on time.
