Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has many economic development models thus for a student to fully understand how economic growth happens ,research has to be conducted. This helped me to have an easy time when taking my exams and also made the classes more interesting breaking the monotony of only learning the basics for a serious scholar.

    Course highlights:

I personally enjoyed how the course gives the views of the classical economists and later the neo-classical economists and the later critiques both views especially the Romer model and the Keynesian theory. This gives the student a new perspective on how the economy evolves. I got understand that economic development is gradual and sometimes fast given different resources and priorities by the country.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For any student to succeed in this course, research and group discussions come in handy. A well functioning group is essential and also a past paper done by the researchers themselves and the critique it in your own words to challenge yourself.
