Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The Business Studies course introduced me to the most fundamental aspects of business. never before had I known different types of business environments until I took this course. A knowledge such as this was critical, considering now that I apply such information daily. The Business Studies course cuts across the corporate world. It incorporates other subjects such as information technology, the basics of entrepreneurship, and mnagerial decision making.

    Course highlights:

The course shed light on the importance of business in the economy and how corporations transact with each other to ensure profitability. It is a common knowledge that businesses' main objective is to make a profit. What many learners do not realize is that business has other roles such as improving interrelations with the community members by engaging in corporate social responsibility and influencing the decisions that the political leadership approved. most importantly, businesses provide the needs of the people at a fee. I learnt all these through this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires a student's dedication and concentration. Even though the lecturer provides a lot of notes, the real knowledge is gained through their application in daily experiences. During the first three weeks, the information may not sink in properly, but the learner will find the course interesting if he does not give up. The final exams and CATs consist of questions that the lecturer touched on during the class sessions.
