    Course Overview:

    This is a carrier course that deals with equipping one with the required skills in practicals. In this course hands on activity is what is required

    Course highlights:

    Preparation of solutions Rules and regulations while in the laboratory How to react to a minor injury through first aid skills

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Students are to be very keen to take in all the instructions so as to avoid the injuries that may occur while in the laboratory.

    It is a course that requires hands on in the lab that each and every student is supposed to take part in it.It is a purely practical course.

    Chromatography Effects of different types of salts Types of flames Metals and their effects

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Students should make sure they have the background knowledge of salts and metals being heading to the lab because it is the same knowledge that is required during the lab session.
