Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In all criminal field or civil one cannot not be imprisoned or punished without adducing evidence and defenses to counter the evidence. In this course it is highly recommendable as one learns ways in which you can adduce the evidence and where to claim privilege.

    Course highlights:

the law of evidence governs ways in which evidence is adduced and whether it is relevant before the jury or if its admissible . You get to familiarize yourself with the classification of evidence ,best evidence rule, the burden and standard of proof, issues like hearsay and facts which do not require proof. Its so important and this course proved useful in my daily handling of cases may it be in the exam room or real court systems.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Advice is simple in order to succeed in this course, read!read!read!read! reading is the key to success there is no way you can pass without reading. Law is fun to read but you got to be on your toes with the new laws that are passed out each single day and every student should be vigilant to learn new things no matter what. study tips: 1. make a timetable. 2. give yourself ample time to study 3. study in groups with serious students 4.pass through past papers to see what was examined before in the unit. 5.read lot of cases on the course and discuss them with other students.
