    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in physical or earth sciences. There was a wide variety of information covered, interesting field trips, and labs where we got to explore and learn using Google Earth. The professor is passionate about what he does, and is fun to have in the classroom. He really got my whole class interested in the topics and challenged us academically.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me personally would have been the field trips and lab assignments. I like learning in the classroom, but being able to hike, explore, and observe landforms, rocks, and minerals firsthand is especially valuable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor is always willing to discuss information and re-explain topics that were particularly difficult, and I wish I would have taken advantage of this more. He made the class fun and somewhat informal, making it easier to ask questions and discuss class material with classmates. Although the exams and tests are rather difficult, the professor provides ample information prior to the tests, and even held study sessions for our final exam.
