    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was brilliant, and the class was very interesting. It was discussion based, with a lot of reading. If you enjoy analyzing literature, this is definitely the class for you.

    Course highlights:

I gained an understanding of different cultures including India, China, Japan, and Russia. It was like taking a class on each country because you came to understand the religious and cultural on a personal level.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't worry too much about the journals, because he only grades them based on ideas. The most important thing is to do all the reading and take part in class discussion. It's not a bad idea to read the extra articles that he sends and annotate them because it's useful when reviewing for the final.
