    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Would recommend this course as it provides basic insight on microeconomics and some topics are practical. Most topics can be easily followed if you pay attention during classes, yet practices are the most important.

    Course highlights:

Microeconomic basics like supply and demand, elasticity, monopoly, perfect competition etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I learned how to study smart. Although working hard is important, like doing tons of exercises and practices, the prof taught me that if you pay attention to his teachings, ask questions immediately and directly during classes, you will do well in midterms and examination.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a required course for business students, hence everyone will have to take it. However, I would have recommended it otherwise too because the professor's great and makes every class a fun learning session.

    Course highlights:

We went through basic demand and supply, consumer theory, market power and structure (perfect competition and oligopoly) and imperfect information. It covers all the basic concepts of Economics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend all lectures! prof's explanations are important and helpful.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The materials is quite hard understand at first if you are not particularly good at economics. However once you are clear with the basic concepts the rest would be easier to get through. Some calculation is needed throughout the course but those are not hard at all despite the lengthy notation used.

    Course highlights:

The course clearly divided the analyses of Macroeconomics into parts: Short-Run Model (ISLM), Medium-Run Model (ASAD, which incorporates price level) and Long-Run Growth model, which copes mainly with capital and technology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is better to do the reading before classes. But I would also say you can follow through the lectures well even you skip the readings since the content is not really challenging, the amount of content is the troubling part.
