    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Super interesting look at the media today. Watching new and old tv shows and movies and dissecting them. Taking apart how it was filmed, the writing, the acting, etc was very interesting and insightful.

    Course highlights:

Watching tv shows/movies and taking it a bit further by dissecting them based on cinematography, motifs, themes, characters and writing. I learned a lot about how important the cinematography aspect of filmmaking is to tell a story.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Spend a lot of time writing and rewriting the papers. Talk about all the details you see and try to make meaning out of them and it will help build your argument for your paper. Pay attention to the small details and reoccurring themes in the shows and movies.
