Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a classic, lecture style class, with over 200 students. It can be dull at times, especially because I had it early in the morning, however it is very informative and I learned a lot and the professor was fantastic. I wish I had taken it at a later time, as I know I would have been much more engaged and interested.

    Course highlights:

It was a great overview of many different areas in psychology. The five psychologies we covered were developmental, health, abnormal, personality, and social.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend studying at least half an hour each night to refresh what you have learned, and to study for a longer period of time at least two days before a test.

    Course Overview:

Irene is a fantastic instructor and makes the class fun and engaging. Explains things in detail and is extremely willing to help student in any way possible to be successful in the class. Definitely one of my favorite classes and professors at IU.

    Course highlights:

Irene does a fantastic job of providing several different types of examples with each topic to aid with all types of learning. She gives extremely good extra credit opportunities and fantastic study guides.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and pay attention. Go to her office hours if you have problems, she is extremely patient and will do whatever possible to help you grasp concepts. Thoroughly study every topic on the study guide, as it will appear on the test.
