    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is extremely helpful. It is important to do well on this course so you will not have any problems with using computer in business in future. Course helped me a lot to improve my Access and Excel skills.

    Course highlights:

    During this class I learned Access and Excel. I think that stuff I learnt was not only basic knowledge but also things that will help me later in accounting. We studied useful formulas and improved skills.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    I think it is important to work on your own outside the classroom. After each lecture it will be helpful to revise material and focus on stuff that is hard to get. Also it will be helpful to watch online videos around the material you think might be hard.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is one that knowing the information can greatly benefit you in life and can even be the deciding factor that lands you a job offer over another student who did not take it. Just taking this class can put you many many steps ahead of your peers when searching for a job or internship.

    Course highlights:

    This class primarily focuses on using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access and applying it to different business situations. It also touches a bit on what information systems are and how they can be utilized to benefit the business world.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    This class is easily the most beneficial class I have ever taken in my entire academic career. I am not exaggerating at all when I say that just taking this class can put you ahead of someone who didn't when searching for a job.

    Course Overview:

    Jim Anderson is a wonderful professor. Our class even received 7% higher grades than the rest of the K201 professor's courses.

    Course highlights:

    Access and Excel. Both of these computer based business tools are so very important to anyone's future in business.
