    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend only informatics majors because it is required. But attendance really brings peoples grades down even if you do well on assignments and test.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of programming in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS, attendance is a huge part of your grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

"Memo", a nickname for Professor Dalkilic, is hilarious and makes the class a lot of fun. He has a ton of pride in being part of IU, and often makes jokes such as "this lesson covers an entire semester at Purdue engineering." He makes concepts easy to understand and gave us a great idea of what Informatics was all about ... and I'll never forget him making us repeat "the art, science and human dimensions of IT!"

    Course highlights:

Basic concepts in computer science, math and engineering, and an overview of different topics relating to the major. One of the highlights of this course is the fact that he offers extra credit on tests for drawing different animals. I attempted to draw a frog, and when I turned my test in he said "it looks more like a bat, but that's ok." I guess he values effort more than precise accuracy. Overall, he's just a great professor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're interested in Computer Science or Informatics, take it. Professor Dalkilic is one of the best teachers you'll ever have, and I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy his class. Go to office hours if you don't understand a certain concept - he's more than willing to help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She brings up very interesting topics in lecture. Web applications are also introduced which can be very beneficial in the long run.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use web applications such as adobe dreamweaver to use html. There are also topics and articles that we are required to read for class where you learn so much about how technology is advancing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with all the assignments and read all the articles. This course overall is actually really easy.
