    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking this course with this professor because the amount of information and assignments that he gives are difficult and complex. He is not a great communicator and belittles you. The course information is very interesting overall and great for learning more about my major.

    Course highlights:

I liked that I learned a lot of different theories and techniques for teaching elementary students. I liked that this class forced me to consider each of these theories in a practical sense and how I would integrate this into my classroom. I also liked that I was placed in a classroom with students so that I could observe and make sense of these theories as they were presented.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the readings assigned out of class because the professor flys through the PowerPoint far quicker than you can take notes and doesn't unpload the slides until after he has finished the unit. The readings are a good indication of what we will be talking about soon in lecture.
