    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was challenging, but interesting and fun (if you like numbers and finance).

    Course highlights:

I gained a much better understanding of how to evaluate and price assets such as bonds and options, as well as an understanding of how to assess risk and return on stock portfolios.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class during a lighter 7 week period. Avoid taking this with another finance or analytic intensive course. Nail the exams since they account for 80% of your grade. But the problem sets will prepare you to success on the exams. Save all of the lectures and homework answers in addition to your own homework for reference in exam preparation. Attend the review sessions.
