Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. This class is really important for all students to understand their history. More than that this teacher is super helpful and understanding of the life of a student. Visit him when you get a chance you and you will have no problem getting all that you can out of this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were class participation and getting to know those around you. Not every class is engaging but this one definitely is and therefore helps with learning all the material. I learned more about history than I ever had and it wasn't just boring books and papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read the assignments. In some courses you can get by without reading everything required but you definitely cannot in this course. You will be ok if you miss a class now and then, but keep up with your reading and you'll do just find. Also, get connected with a study group asap and you will all benefit. Build a group quickly and meet before tests!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Stranges is an easy HIST 106 class to take. There are only three exams which are not cumulative. There were 3 books which he advised to read but sparknotes helps all the same. There are 75 questions on the exams and 5 of them are bonus questions. Attendance is for a grade and his lectures are boring so that was the only down side.

    Course highlights:

What I loved about Stranges was he gave course packets which was a summary of the course textbook! so don't bother getting the textbook. The course packet are his notes in class so you can follow along and not be worried about getting all the notes down.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the review sessions he has before each exam! He goes over the exam there so it really helps to attend.
