    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Stranges is an easy HIST 106 class to take. There are only three exams which are not cumulative. There were 3 books which he advised to read but sparknotes helps all the same. There are 75 questions on the exams and 5 of them are bonus questions. Attendance is for a grade and his lectures are boring so that was the only down side.

    Course highlights:

What I loved about Stranges was he gave course packets which was a summary of the course textbook! so don't bother getting the textbook. The course packet are his notes in class so you can follow along and not be worried about getting all the notes down.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the review sessions he has before each exam! He goes over the exam there so it really helps to attend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is fairly easy if you pay attention during lectures and do the assigned reading. There are mini quizzes over the required reading and three non-cumulative tests. As long as you take notes you will do fine on anything that is graded in the course. Dr. Colopy is loud and passionate about the subject he teaches. His 8 a.m was the best way to start the day because his voice woke you up and his stories keep you entertained.

    Course highlights:

Definitely Dr. Colopy's stories. Sometimes he would get off-track and tell us stories from when he was younger and they were always hilarious. His class was a great way to start the day. The class is just the first half of American History so if you paid attention or studied during your US History class in high school it is basically just a repeat but more in-depth on some events.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and assigned readings, attend all lectures, and keep up with the quizzes.
