    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has too much work for its few credit hours.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use math lab and labview.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The course is okay, just keep up with it and choose a good professor.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking Dr. Kurwitz's Engineering course. He has a lot of experience working in the engineering field, and he always brought great energy to class. The work load is heavy, yet there are many assignments in all beginning engineering classes. It is a difficult course, but Dr. Kurwitz is helpful and will make the first semester fun.

    Course highlights:

The main thing I learned from this course was about coding computers. There are two different coding programs taught in this course, so it was interesting to learn new things since I had never taken a coding class before. If you do not understand coding yet, do not worry because there are many help sessions and people to teach you. Also, the course is very fun when you learn how to control robots through code that you built. This course offers a lot of room for creativity and hard work.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

First, engineering will not be a "blow off class" from a university. This course along with others will require hard work and many hours of homework assignments. If you are willing to work hard and accomplish projects with fellow students, this is the course to take. It is very interesting, but be prepared to get lost and fail a few times. For some of the assignments, I had to get something wrong in order to learn from my mistakes. Do not be discouraged when you mess up one assignment because there are many other grades and activities to bring your grade up.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because it is a weed out course. The professor gives exaggerated amounts of homework that takes up most of my time.

    Course highlights:

I have been learning how to think critically and how to come up with solutions to any types of problems.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend that they go to any tutoring that is offered so that you can get extra help with homework and other course materials.
