    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for anybody who is willing to work hard, go to class, and actually put in effort into understanding the class.

    Course highlights:

Class is optional- however, I highly recommend it because once I actually pay attention, Dr. Lindahl makes it seem so much easier than when I initially look at it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the optional homework first, then look at the answers to see what you did wrong, and then do the homework again.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Banerjee taught specifically Chemistry majors for the second semester of General chemistry. He was an engaging professor who answered questions you had and was willing to elaborate and open discussion if you had a question. make sure you do the online homework because, it helps prepare you better for the tests as well, as just understanding the concepts in class as well.

    Course highlights:

The way he formatted the tests, while hard, was fair. Especially because in the free response section, you were allowed to take them home during the weekend to work them, but if you finished the problems and got them right, you got a bonus of 50% of whatever that question was worth (if it was worth 10 points, and you got it right, you got a total of 15 points.) He provided real life research examples for the things we were learning about. For example, when we learned about electrochemistry, specifically batteries, he explained to us the disconnect between the evolution of technology and the evolution of batteries and how batteries need to be changed to be more efficient and environmentally friendly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Like I said before, make sure you do the online homework. If you don't understand a concept, ask him in class and he will go over it. Don't be afraid to crack open the textbook or to ask a fellow student. pay attention in class, and you should be good to go.
