Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course had one large assignment to test our assessment skills that allowed us to be creative and complete in in our own time. I really enjoyed this course and felt I retained more information as I had to do some research outside of class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to assess patients thoroughly and how to be confident in what I was assessing.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to be a nurse, you have to take it :)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Silvia Jones because she is always there when you need the help. Always making sure everybody is understanding in what she is teaching. If she sees you falling behind, she will try to work it out with you in every step of the way. Silvia Jones is a great professor because she knows her stuff and loves teaching it.

    Course highlights:

I learn to always keep going and that it will get better. Taking notes and asking question is a big thing in this course. The first exam is always the unexpected. No one knows what to expect. After the first exam, I felt more confident because I knew what to expect later on. My professor knows who studied or not because there is only one answer. The test is tricky when you haven't studied. Some answers seems right but only one is correct. This course required a lot of studying and always focusing on the material.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is the key in this course. It is okay to give yourself a break but always make sure that studying will help you succeed even more. Being a future nurse means that you have to give it your best shot. It is a fun course because you always learn something new that you never knew before.
