    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this course at my high school, but through Indiana University Kokomo. This was a great course to take to get me ready for college. As I started college, I already knew what was expected of me and how to write at a college level, while my professors were telling people that they needed to see them due to poor writing skills. Overall, it was a great course and one less course I had to take in college. I am now in w132 and i will be done with essay classes after this course!

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge into what it is like to read and write at a college level. Professors require so much more and by taking this class, I was not worried to go to college because I knew what was expected of me. Now 5-6 page essays are the norm and I don't get stressed over them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell people to take this course. It is a great way to get insight on college work and to see if college is right for you. It is an easy class and easy A, why not try it?

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

she is a wonderful teacher and prepares you very well for the future and gives great feedback. she does her best to help you and will work with you if you have issues.

    Course highlights:

i learned how to write better essays and correct punctuation. there were 4 main essays throughout the course. there was also an online interactive grammar course to keep you in touch with correct grammar.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

do all of the assignments. no matter how little the points are. the grades are weighted and the essays will be your final. she is a laid back teacher but that does not mean you can slack. try your hardest and be prepared for class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend English W-131 with Instructor Mary Kennelly because she is an amazing teacher who dedicates her time and effort to help her students succeed. Writing papers has always been a stressful task for me, but she provides the knowledge and resources needed to make writing possible.

    Course highlights:

I believe the main highlight of this course was breaking down the aspects of MLA and APA format and writing papers in those formats effectively. Also, I learned a lot about grammar, even though we did not have a lot of time to break each form of punctuation down into detailed lectures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to definitely begin working on papers before the week it is due! In addition, I would tell you to ask questions no matter what because Instructor Kennelly is very willing to help!
