Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Excellent professor. The only thing I recommend students to do is to re write your notes after school, this will not only help for review, but also to engrave the topics well.

    Course highlights:

She is very energetic and helps you even if you are a slow learner. One thing that i remember is that we always had a fun time. Be prepared it is not fun when you're the only one without a calculator and you have to bother others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the online work first before going to class you'll be ahead of the game. This helps because you'll learn the topic of the class at home, and questions will come up during the lecture. It becomes easier to ask the questions that may rise during the lecture and it gives you a better understanding at the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class in my high school through WCC, and it was by far the most helpful class I've ever taken. I learned things that will help me once I am on my own, such as how to handle my finances, how to file my taxes, and other useful information that I feel all young adults should know how to do.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to file taxes which has come in handy with previous jobs I've had; interest rates regarding loans and putting money in the bank; how important capital is in a business. Overall, extremely helpful and useful information, especially if I want to pursue a career in business.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class isn't one you can just slack your way through. You have to really apply yourself-- what you put in you will get out. Vocabulary is very important and you should really study so you know how to do the stuff being taught because it truly will help later on in life.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

As a person who likes math and logic, I like how accounting has certain rules that apply to any problems throughout the course. Even though one may find it very predictable, I like this kind of boring and repeating system. People who want to major in something related to finance should definitely take this course.

    Course highlights:

I learn some basic things that would be helpful in real life. Maybe one won't prepare a balance sheet or income statement at home, but the course gives one an idea how the financial system works, information about taxes and credit cards, and interesting things for those, who wants to start own business.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't like to do the same things over and over again, and reiteration is not for you - DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE, you will find it boring. If you (like me) want to learn some simple things about accounting and you are interested in finance, THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU.
