    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to get an Introduction and understanding of the diverse and controversial issues surrounding the criminal justice system of today's time.

    Course highlights:

Famous laws that were enforced such as prohibition, EOA, the war on drugs, segregation and many more. Learning all the different elements of the Criminal Justice System such as the chain of command, all the new opportunities being created in forensic science; by far my favorite subject content included how society affects our justice system beneficially or negatively.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must have focus on all the varying topics as well as completing all of your work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Lavery is quite possibly the most amazing professor I've had. She made the criminal justice class incredibly intriguing. This class was an introduction class to the CJ field and she covered lots of different career opportunities.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning the copious career opportunities in the criminal justice field. Most people think you can only be a corrections officer or police officer when in fact the options range from mental health to intelligence to lawyers to agents of the law.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would have to say that as long as you show up to class, participate, and actually read the textbook, there should be no reason you can't get an A.
