Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Gur is a great teacher! He is very passionate about criminal justice and brings that energy to class. He also enlists various guest speakers to talk about first-hand experiences. The most interesting speaker during Fall 2015 was a Philadelphia police officer who shared his adventures in the city.

    Course highlights:

As mentioned above, the guest speakers brought a whole new dimension to the class. I learned that a lot of police work (such as patrol duty) isn't as action-packed as most people assume it to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely buy the textbook and come to class for the PowerPoints. Class discussions also help prepare you for tests.
