Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It taught me a lot of psychology that I didn't learn in high school and was very beneficial

    Course highlights:

There were a lot of notes but they came in handy for th mid term and final. I learned a lot about the theorists and their theories and that helped me in my past two psychology classes

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study a lot. A big part of your grade is the mid term and final and they aren't easy

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Its a great introduction course that might spark some interest you didn't know was there. Its informative and interesting to get a look at the inside of the human mind and why we do what we do.

    Course highlights:

We would play brain games and you could see how your brain develops short cuts or even puts up barriers. Its surprising how little we actually understand about ourselves and our patterns but this class will have a lot of insight.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just enjoy it. It can be an easy but interesting A for your General Education Studies. But besides raising your GPA you might find you're truly interested in the subject. Seriously, it can be a fun course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Asplin is an amazing professor. She utilizes information from the textbook as well as materials from the internet to teach her students. She is always available to help the students when they start to struggle or need help.

    Course highlights:

The highlights is how much I learned from this beginning course and used the information learned in future classes. I learned what the Pavlov experiment was, what the various types of conditioning are, what operant conditioning is, and what psychology is.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read the sections in the book in advanced and write notes of questions you have. Those will help bring a discussion moving when she reviews the topic on her powerpoints. Don't be afraid to ask questions, there is no such thing as a "silly question". Dr. Asplin enjoys when people ask questions.
