    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Principles of Sociology with Professor Colon because he truly pushes understanding of every aspect of every chapter we read and it is definitely recognized and absorbed during class time by the great amount of passion he teaches with!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about how each character in the books dealt with hardship and pushed themselves through it to become successful. It also opened our eyes up to the real life struggles not just college students, but people in life suffer through. We learned about many different people who could be any one of us. We learned about their backgrounds that lead to their behaviors and individual development. You will definitely come out of the class more knowledgable, open minded, and humbled.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to take part in discussions! Different perspectives are always appreciated and eye opening! It leads to an intriguing class discussion. Participation is a significant part of one's grade also.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course because it explored the diversity of our humanity. Our teacher Ms. Peggy made the class very interesting and was very deliberate and intentional in the way she explored the Topics with us. She would raise questions that got us thinking and embracing different points of view.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was the fact that we explored alot of topics and issues that I never even thought about before the class. I did a presentation on The Water Crisis and it honestly made me become more grateful for the resources that we take for granted like water. How it is very scarce in many places. This course will cause you to open your eyes to new social issues that you may not even know exist or the extent of how important it may be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the work. This professor is a very sweet lady and she will work with you. If you do your part and submit your assignments, you will succeed in this course.
