    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class teaches you what you need to need to know about hardware, but you need to be motivated to learn on your own. there was a lot of materials to go over but it seemed like there was not enough time in each class to go over the materials. You will need to study outside the class to stay on pace with class but most of the time the class would be behind schedule so be ready to rush through materials during class.

    Course highlights:

I learned much about the hardware of computers. The class made me develop better studying habits. participating counted as part of the grade so speaking in class helped me stay focused and also take good notes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

writing notes down on paper is difficult but the professor puts his notes on powerpoints so use a laptop to take better notes. have some background knowledge in hardware to have an easier time understanding the materials. Be open to participating, just doing it counts as a grade even if you say something incorrect.
