    Course Overview:

    Very informative course that teaches a lot about epidemics and the environmental consequences

    Course highlights:

    The correlation of disease and and non exercise attributes to the obesity epidemic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You get what you put into it! Take the time to really dig into the content and it will reveal great information.

    Course Overview:

    Great course for introduction to epidemiology; great professor with lots of knowledge and is very accessible. I enjoyed the historical aspect as well.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the background and origin of epidemiology. I know much about the science itself, but not as much about the history and I found it fascinating.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Lots of research, lots of reading and TONS of writing! If you're doing the FASTRAC course, be prepared to be busy!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    It was informational, interactive, and not too difficult.

    Course highlights:

    One of the modules included an online interactive detective game which was very enjoyable. It taught the basics of an epidemiologist's job description and the types of things an epidemiologist would see in the field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    The course is 100% online. Make sure you have a fast internet connection and save all papers on an external drive just in case.
