    Course Overview:

Every educator thinks they are culturally sensitive by nature of profession, however this is not the case. This course teaches you how to recognize the power imbalance some races feel within themselves, due to negative stereotyping or limited upbringing, and it will also teach you how to legitimize those students, as well as become well-versed in other cultures' perspectives in Education. A true scholar and dedicated professional is always knowledgeable about the students they instruct and their colleagues. Being different is not a negative, it is a lesson in tolerance to learn to appreciate diversity wholeheartedly.
