Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like being able to work at my own pace and the course is lined up well. I do wish there was a paper version of the book they require, but I'm making due! The quizzes can be difficult, but with a page of notes allowed, I've been 85% or higher on every one.

    Course highlights:

I've taken the course before, but it was almost 15 years ago. There are some updates and I enjoy the picture diagrams that weren't in my old text book. I, again, enjoy that it's at my own pace. I've been at it for 4 weeks and half way though!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you're motivated on your own to do it! Since attendance isn't required, sometimes its hard to make yourself log in to read/study after a long day. Be diligent!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Excellent self paced class. Quizes are super tough, but you will learn the material.

    Course highlights:

I am an engineering major switching to nursing because of my desire to care for the neglected elderly population. This semester my favorite class was Anatomy and Physiology. I love this class because each day I learn something I would have never guessed about the wonderful creation that is the human body. Each time I open the book, new secrets hidden inside my body are revealed to me. And not only is it intellectually stimulating, it's immensely practical. For example, I was able to understand why the elderly often fracture their bones and fall, and I learned how to aid someone whose motor skills are failing. All in all, I think anyone who is interested in the body should take this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to invest a lot of time into reading the book. Look at the online materials on the book's website.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Straighterline is an excellent college for working adults. You work at your own pace and don't have to leave your home to complete the course either.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be the lab experiments. There was an experiment for every body system.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you really read everything that your suppose to read. Also make sure you go threw all your old material before you take the final.
