    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for someone who likes history or wants to learn more about western culture and how it developed in the past. It's as hard as the student makes it and there is no way to pass without putting the required time into it.

    Course highlights:

I've learned a multitude of things ranging from queens of ancient Egypt to the origins of Christianity. This course includes ancient, medieval and early modern western cultures. It's very interesting and is very inclusive of many of the events that have happen from as early as 3000 BCE through and passed 1500 CE

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students keep in mind that the course is very difficult if you do not understand the material. Extensive studying may be required. The assigned readings are also very important in order to fulfill class assignments and participate in class discussions.
