    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class requires a great deal of memorizing statues, names, dates over a great deal of historical time.

    Course highlights:

It was incredibly difficult due to the amount of memorizing required.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class with a friend, or not at all... the amount of time to study the material is ridiculous

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Art history is an amazing subject! Studying art history is basically studying the history of the world because art was and still is a reflection on politics, religion, and social issues. I will always recommend art history to anyone!

    Course highlights:

This course teaches about art starting from the Renaissance period to modern art. It teaches about different movements such as Art Deco, Cubism, Surrealism, Pop art and many others. As the course moves throughout the semester, you are able to see how each style influenced the other and are able to understand how art has made its way to where it is today!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will gain more from the course by memorizing art movements and styles rather than individual images. By learning the characteristics of each movement you will be able to apply that more universally than just memorizing the images name and artist.
