Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allowed for research in an area of personal interest and growth.

    Course highlights:

I was able to explore the research question of whether singing is an inherited talent or a learned skill; I spent 30 days immersing myself in this topic which served as an excellent source of primary research. I also learned how to find outside sources and apply it to my research.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the directions. If you complete each assignment as directed you can't fail.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thoroughly enjoy reading books and writing. This course was an amazing way to read books then write papers on them. The topics I chose were amazing topics to research and write about, and it was so much fun!

    Course highlights:

I honestly think the course itself was one of my favorite from fall semester. I learned how to organize papers into different formats, different citation styles, and avoiding a wordy paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come in willing to change your previous writing style and be open to researching new topics.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it due to the fact it reiterates fundamental writing skills taught in high schools and expands them to college level.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the different types and styles of research and how to incorporate them in writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, important info and tips on how to get an A grade on your next paper are always in the powerpoint and in-class exercises.
