    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this course!! It gave me insight into different fields of study.

    Course highlights:

I learned chemical compounds and reactions. My professor related all the topics to something outside of chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always review the study guides and read the chapters. Do not be afraid to ask questions!!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally did not like Heuser as a teacher other than the fact he gave out tons of extra credit. He was not the best teacher and most people failed the first few tests, including myself. Try to get a tutor if you have him or you will probably struggle.

    Course highlights:

The extra credit was the highlight of the course along with the labs. Some of the labs were boring, but others were fun. We got to melt chocolate and put it on cookies and at the end we got to eat them, but the lab report and math that went with that lab was very confusing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a tutor at the beginning and if you do not get a tutor you better hope he is still giving out extra credit. I mean I would have gotten a 91 in the class without extra credit, but it was a struggle to get there.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Davis goes through material well and makes sure the student understands the information.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge and understanding of basic chemistry necessary for higher level classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to make sure you do the assigned reading and ask questions.
