Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Saul is a great teacher to take for any course. He is fun and loves to joke around. His tests can be difficult sometimes, but the class in general makes it worth it.

    Course highlights:

This class was very informative on most of the basic information. if you have a good teacher for this course that really nails the information into you it will prepare you for all your future biology courses, so study hard.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course you really need to study and understand how to apply the concepts and how they work with everything else. so read the book and listen in lecture.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have learned so much from Dr. Cannon that I know will truly aid me in my success of a Biology degree. I will constantly be referring back to this course for the general information. I wish I understood he materials on test day as well as I understand them now however that is just a true statement of how much I have grown and learned in this course.

    Course highlights:

A new take on the cell, the biomolecules within the cell, a new look at photosynthesis and how our bodies produce and utilize energy through cellular respiration, genetics and so much more from the labs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Our teacher emphasized the understanding of the material and I think that is where I struggled most. I wasn't understanding it and then when we went to the labs, I got it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Christie would go over each chapter in detail and would expand on any part of the textbook that was not clear.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was definitely the lab portion. There was plenty to learn about; such as DNA matching, and allele frequencies. You would work in a group and do the work hands-on instead of sitting in a lecture hall.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You will have plenty of free time if you have 12-15 hours per semester. Do not cram for the class and make sure you study. It's honestly not hard when you put the time to study for the exams and lab practicals.
