    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you are fascinated by the geological aspect of how our world has come to place, then this class is a great start to get involved! Being an environmental major needs some sort of geological understanding as a lot of environmental aspects are explained by how the world has evolved over the years. This course talks about the geological formations of the Hawaiian Islands and spans more specifically on naturally occurring phenomenons.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the amount of useful information obtained. You may think that geological courses are strictly only about rocks, but they expand to much greater depths. For example, in the course we learn about tsunami, earthquake and volcano safety and hazards. We also learn how they are formed. Geology also plays a major role in environmental aspects because it talks about erosion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to look at ALL powerpoint given by this teacher as a lot of the questions on the test are not discussed in class but discussed in the powerpoint given online.
