Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Amazing literature, super interesting essay prompts that students were excited to write, I learned a lot about different cultures and peoples struggles through novels.

    Course highlights:

With units like poetry, short stories, historical novels and plays, I learned pretty much everything I needed to learn for my others classes like theater, choir, history and creative writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE READINGS!!!! Trust me! If you don't the quizzes are really hard and often times, the themes from other books translate into others so what you learn from unit 1 doesn't go away when the unit ends!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great class that brings a challenge if you take the honors course!

    Course highlights:

I loved the reading selections like Siddhartha and 1984 that had valuable lessons in it!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read outside of class and always have the readings done for the next day!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course due to the way it better prepared me for more challenging essay topics and the possibility of harsher grading. It opened my eyes to new way of teaching which will help in the long run.

    Course highlights:

The highlights to me were doing projects such as research on a character from one of Shakespeare's plays. I also enjoyed giving book talks, because they gave me the oppurtunity to read more books since it was technically an assignment to do so.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write lots of essays and read lots of stories, plays, and novels. You also need to be ready to do research to better form the backgrounds and facts to work into your essays.
