Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Knowing the history of our country is vital to being great citizens! Mr. Gross is a great teacher and the class was both informative and interesting. I highly recommend it!

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing to learn about was the various labor movements in U.S. history; they are rarely talked about, yet they shaped policy for long spans of time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your readings and start studying a few days before the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It really prepares you for college. There is a lot of reading, yes, but you learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the class is Mr. Gross. He is an amazing teacher who truly cares about you and wants you to succeed, and he is hilarious.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the reading. You won't learn the material well enough for the AP test unless you read.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have learned so much in the past three weeks I cannot believe it. Instead of learning history in your run-of-the-mill textbooks, you learn history from the words and eyes of the other side, namely the losing side.

    Course highlights:

You learn most importantly how a college level class runs. Nightly reading, unstructured note taking and written exams are common and you learn how to be successful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading! Take notes in your own words! Don't dance around questions, give factual evidence!
