    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

learned a lot in this course, challenging at times but well worth it

    Course highlights:

although I don't remember everything I learned in this course I find that when a major event in world history is brought up I usually can remember a few details about it to at least understand context

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

take notes and make study guides. help friends and compare notes to make sure you get all of the information. while reading the text book helps, it's a lot to read and usually just perusing the content is enough to get the main ideas

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is the most extensive and hard class I've ever taken. I loved the information but it was so much information, really fast. I did't like the way we tackled the unit questions and objectives because I don't think I absorbed anything I studied. I did not feel prepared for the AP test because everything we studied was shallow information.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about china and the dynasties. I loved learning about the silk road and the trading system. I also liked learning about the land bridge theory and theories about how humans used to to settle in the americas.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to stay on top of your work and do extra work in order to succeed. Your accomplishments are up to you. Usually in high school you can get by doing the bare minimum but in this class you need to fight. Theres a reason you're in an ap course, so prove it to yourself by working hard.
