    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because although Senior Comp can be terribly boring, the teacher himself attempts to enliven it with various real world connections and humor. He gives ample class time to struggle on essays - an enevitable part for most - and also offers help inside and outside of class.

    Course highlights:

I learned that post it notes actually have a use besides leaving them in obscure places and forgetting about them. A helpful post it sticking out of the middle of a book can explain a brilliant thesis wrote at 3:47 am Saturday morning in an exhausted haze that was nearly forgotten.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although it is physically possible to string together a research paper the night before the due date, it is not recommended. If there is a class discussion on a book that you'll be writing an essay on, pay attention instead of playing Ballz underneath your desk when the teacher isn't looking, because he will notice and just not say anything but remember that when you have questions. I've seen it before - it's a vicious cycle.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the more exposure to writing, the better. In the future, everyone is bound to write some type of piece so it is beneficial to develop the necessary skills while in high school.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was Mr. Stout's willingness to help you develop ideas and get them on paper. He is very experienced in the creative writing field so this is helpful when writer's block hits.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In this class there is a lot of free time which can be both a blessing and a curse depending on your time management skills. It is important to work either in class or outside of class, as long as the work gets done.
