    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Palmisano is a fantastic teacher. It is obvious that she loves her job and this makes it much easier to learn from her. She uses great analogies and leaves lots of time at the end of class for questions, often times, students learn a lot from others asking questions. I find myself relating what I have learned in psychology to everyday life, and I believe that is a trait that a good teacher posses.

    Course highlights:

I learned numerous things throughout this course. I would say the highlights of the course are the memory chapter and the sensory chapter. You learn a lot about why illusions happen and why we remember certain things and don't remember certain things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend a notebook or binder where you can keep all of your notes. I also write my notes very neat. Typically I copy down what the slide says and add stuff in the margins to what she talks about, because the test typically follows her slides.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course itself was good, the teacher not so much. If you are considering psychology as a major, I definitely would take the course then.

    Course highlights:

I definitely gained knowledge on myself, and learned that I don't want to major in psychology. I learned that while you have to work hard, it is only as hard as you make it for yourself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, study for the test and take notes. He dense give homework, so that will not boost your grade at all. He counts heavy on the attendance though, so show up for class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend it because this professor was always marching to his own drum, but giving us the information we needed. He delivered it in a different way, and it worked.

    Course highlights:

The highlight would be the strategies for studying for tests. He helped us narrow down what to study, but didn't give us the answers so we still did work on our own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I took the 12 week course and it was just fine. It did not feel too rushed or anything and most importantly it did not impact my other courses like I thought it might.
