Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A lot of writing. If you are a writer, get ready for a joyride of essays!

    Course highlights:

My professor made everything worthwhile. She was the toughest teacher in the English department at my community college but she really had a handle and dedication for student success. She graded hard but she was brutally honest with us, and truthfully, that's how you learn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try not to fall behind with your writing. It's really easy to do so because one day you are like "Man, I really don't want to write this essay." And in a blink of an eye, the essay is due the next morning and you are up all night struggling to finish. Trust me: been there, done that!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Geary was one of the kindest and most interesting professors I had the privilege of learning from. He would go out of his way to make activities that made the lessons more than just words on a page.

    Course highlights:

One of the greatest highlights for me would have been the project presentations. We were allowed to research any topic we desired and then present the information in some form of media to the class. I learned a lot of information about my topic (Rhino Horn Farming) and it helped me build up my presentation skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are willing to participate in class and put in the work that is asked of you. You will do well and Mr. Geary will be willing to help you achieve your goals every step of the way.
