Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was extremely interesting! We grew our own bacteria and conducted numerous tests to determine specific qualities of the microorganisms. By the end of the semester I felt like an official lab researcher able to inoculate dozens of experiments and interpret the results.

    Course highlights:

The highlight for me was definitely seeing the results after incubation from each of our inoculations. Knowing that I grew that bacteria and I could interpret the results based on the test that was conducted was exciting for me. We also learned about specific diseases and their causes. I look at the world differently, considering now all the micro organisms that are vital to life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is very specific. There are a great number of details that will need to be learned and understood in order to do well. This is not an easy, hardly any studying course. You will have to work. Study specifically.
