    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was the sweetest most patient teacher there is. She is always full of energy and always makes sure that we are all on the same page. The work was very easy and a lot of it is common sense, with some life lessons added in. We met once a week on Mondays and the class time was about an hour long so we covered 1 chapter per class and she reminded us of our homework on blackboard and we would turn it in the next class, real simple.

    Course highlights:

This course discussed how to navigate through college and what to do and not do in order to be a successful student. I learned new study techniques, where to go, aside from the teacher, if I need help assignments, how to communicate better with words and body language, how to save money, etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

SHOW UP ON TIME! Literally, one of the best and easiest things to do is to just show up on time. The homework and other assignments and annoucnments are always posted on blackboard, so make sure to check that often. There is 1 group assignment, so make sure your team is reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and good communicators. The final exam is pretty much the homework assignments all in one packet, but it doesn't take long and again, isn't difficult at all. Overall, this course is real simple and even the professor herself will tell you that the first thing you need to do to be successful in this class and other classes is to have enough self-discipline to wake up and go to class on time.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for college freshman students because it's extremely helpful. This course along with the professor have prepared me for what college has ahead for me.

    Course highlights:

This course allowed me to retain good study habits versus unhealthy study habits. Within this course, the professor helps you learn the Tidewater Community College student handbook along with helping you navigate through her blackboard course. This course is as easy as 1,2,3 as long as you put in the work and dedication, she's always willing to help you!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

NEVER wait until last minute to complete one of her assignments or tests! These assignments test you on videos that may consist of an hour of footage! Waiting too long may result in a 0. Also, I would recommend listening to the TED talk videos in complete silence, never have any distractions around you!
