    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would reccomend this course because I found it much more interesting than biology 101. In Bio 102, we learned about animals, the natural world, the environment, plants, and things of interest to a science major (or not!). The labs are also fun, and not too hard. This class is very easy if you pay attention to the lectures and are able to identify kingdoms, classes, domains. That is the key to doing well in this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about animals, plants, and life from the first cell all the way up to human life. This class covers a lot of information but in my opinion is more interesting than Biology 101. There is a lot to memorize but it is stuff that will stick. It is not hard to pass if you review powerpoints, take notes during class, and review them before a test. Quizzes are also very easy.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study powerpoints, your book and your notes. there may be information in one of these sources that you can not find anywhere else. also, the pictures in the book may help you understand life cycles much more than a word description can!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor, Mrs. Behm, is a very lovely person full of good laughs and funny stories. However, her in class material is not always the most helpful. She speeds through a lot of information quickly and her powerpowers don't contain many words. For the best outcome, always study her handouts thoroughly. You will need to know almost all of that material.

    Course highlights:

I gained a proper wake up call of how much studying must be put into a college course. The information is going to be hard and you have to put in the work do get he grades you want. Mrs. Behm pushed us all to do our best.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I gained an intense study strategy. You must gather knowledge over everything her handouts cover so it is best to study early and extensively.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much never thought I would succeed in Biology since I am horrible at science. This professor was thorough and helped me understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned the genealogy of Dna. I learned the different parts of plant cells by looking under a microscope and studying the animal cell as well.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The most important advice is to stay focused and if you don't understand ask the professor to help you understand. Also study and put in as many hours possible.
