Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For starters, if you're going into a health-related field, you have to have it. Apart from that, it's an extremely interesting course. Learning how the body works is fascinating, and you may be surprised about quite a few things.

    Course highlights:

This course will give you a great foundation for a future in health care, regardless of your field. There are some sections which are more applicable than others depending on what you want to do. For example, learning the muscles and bones were great for me since I am going into physical therapy. Other parts of the course are just really interesting, like learning how your body digests food and creates energy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the power points! They will give you most of the information you need for the tests. If there is something you don't understand or want to learn more about, then look it up in the book. Looking up videos on Youtube and Khan Academy are also extremely helpful, because they break things down quickly and simply, which doesn't always happen in class. For lab: take pictures of everything. You're given a printout of everything on the models you need to know. Go down the list and take pictures of everything on the models in order, so that whenever you have some free time you can flip through the pictures on your phone to review.
