    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am terrified of speaking in public but its something I have always wanted to be able to do. by the end of this class I had no problem standing in front of a group of strangers and delivering a speech.

    Course highlights:

I walked away from this course with the confidence to stand in front of people I've never met and speak. I gained the ability to compose and deliver persuasive, informative, demonstrative and entertaining speeches.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course seriously. Don't let fear stop you from learning something new about yourself. The most important lesson I learned while taking this course was the lesson I taught myself. That lesson was you don't know what you can do until you try. I wouldn't have made that realization had I not taken this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. The material is interesting and the professor makes the learning fun.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course for me was the professor. We learned about literature, but our assignments were easy, inspiring, and most of all we had the opportunity to be creative with video blogs and even made a music video for our final assignment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The more you put into the course, the more you will get out of it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is always good to advance your English and writing skills. You never know when you will have to write an essay, cover letter, or even just your resume and simple emails.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about formatting an essay and debating.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When the teacher has office hours go to them for help with your writing. Don’t leave anything last minute. Don’t take feed back as a bad thing, look it over, ask questions if you need to, and use it as a tool to improve
